What is Body Contouring & how does it work?
Simply put, Body Contouring is nothing more than adjusting the shape of the area of your body that is currently not how you would like it to be. Body contouring is also known as Body Shaping. Especially after massive weight loss, many of those affected suffer from excess skin. If you have finally managed to reach your desired weight, e.g. through sports and diet, you are now still carrying around the unpleasant consequences of being overweight. My goal is to help you to look at your body with pleasure again and to get back your self-esteem.

Liposuction
Probably the most common body contouring method is Liposuction. In this procedure, fat cells are suctioned out in a gentle and minimally invasive way. Popular areas of the body where liposuction is performed are the abdomen, waist, thighs, chin and upper arms. Other areas such as the back, breasts, buttocks and mons pubis can also be treated with liposuction.
Excess skin and tissue can then be removed with tightening-surgery. I always try to make the course of the scar as inconspicuous as possible in order to achieve an optimal aesthetic result.
Renuvion®
If excess skin and tissue is only moderate, a very cosmetic result can be achieved with plasma tightening (Renuvion®).
Advantages of this treatment are that there are no visible scars and the surgical risks and duration of the healing process are less than with surgical lifting.
The effect principle of the plasma system is the stimulation of new collagen formation through the targeted delivery of thermal energy to the tissue.
Abdominoplasty
An abdominoplasty, also known as a tummy tuck, involves the removal of excess tissue in the lower abdominal area. There are different procedures, which are individualized depending on the patient.
Often this treatment is chosen after severe weight loss or pregnancy.
Depending on the medical findings, a rectus lift can also be performed during the operation, i.e. the abdominal muscles that have drifted apart are brought back together and a visible waist can be restored. This is often combined with liposuction to create a harmonious overall appearance of waist, flank and back.
Autologous fat therapy
Body fat is excellent for body shaping. The big advantage is that implants can be largely avoided, which reduces the general risks. With our special technique, we also use the body’s own PRP, so that a particularly high proportion of fat can be achieved.
Frequent applications of such a lipo transfer or lipofilling are buttock augmentation (Brazilian Butt Lift, BBL) and breast augmentation. Both procedures can also be combined with the implantation of silicone gel implants. Scar corrections and facial rejuvenation can also be carried out with autologous fat.
Autologous fat promises a natural and harmonious-looking result, does not require any foreign material and only entails low surgical risks with long-lasting effects.
Upper arm & thigh lift
With increasing age or after significant weight loss it is not uncommon for the skin on the upper arms and thighs to sag. Unfortunately, sports and training can often only support the regression of the skin to a limited extent. Those affected suffer greatly from their fat deposits.
However, with help of surgery, excess skin can be removed. The operation is performed under general anesthesia and usually takes several hours. To remove the excess tissue, an incision is made on the inside of the upper arms or thighs.
When skin is tightened, it is unfortunately inevitable that a scar will appear. However, the incisions are made in such a way that afterwards the scars are almost invisible during everyday movements.

In order to provide you with as much information as possible, I have listed the most frequently asked questions here. Of course, I will be happy to answer any questions you may have in person!
We use the PAL method (Power Assisted Liposuction), which uses vibrating cannulas to deliver energy into the fatty tissue and enables a gentle suction process. This minimally invasive procedure is characterized by excellent aesthetic results and manageable side effects.
Depending on the medical findings, various tissue tightening methods can be used. The least risky and at the same time scar-free tightening method is the J-plasma system Renuvion®. Here, energy is selectively released into the tissue, thus stimulating the formation of new collagen. To avoid tissue damage, the procedure takes place in a helium atmosphere. Possible areas of application are the abdomen, breasts, thighs, knees, buttocks, face, chin and upper arms. If there are pronounced findings, surgical tightening may be necessary. This results in visible scars, but the tightening effect is very pronounced. A combination of the two procedures is also possible.

Surgical tightening procedures such as abdominoplasty or upper arms and thighs lifts can treat excess skin very effectively. In the case of abdominoplasty, a rectus lift can also be performed intraoperatively to optimally reconfigure the waist (e.g. after pregnancies).
One of the disadvantages is the presence of visible scars. However, these can be made less noticeable by clever incision design.
